How to Recover Deleted and Lost Files

You can directly upload recovered files to Google Drive or Dropbox, or share them via email. Alternatively, you can save them to a different folder on your device for easy access.

Please note: DiskDigger needs the "Access all files" permission to thoroughly search your device for recoverable photos. Ensure this permission is enabled for optimal performance.

* On non-rooted devices, the app performs a "limited" scan, focusing on cache and thumbnail files to find deleted photos and videos.

* On rooted devices, DiskDigger can perform a comprehensive scan of the entire device memory to locate all traces of photos and videos.

* After completing the scan, use the "Clean up" button to permanently delete items you no longer need (currently an experimental feature available only in the Basic Scan).

* Utilize the "Wipe free space" option to securely erase free space on your device, preventing deleted files from being recovered.
